Recently we had the good luck to find out where the chassis from our yellow cabin went,
were in contact with the man, and obtained it! (At a price of course).
He then delivered it to Hamilton because he had to come here anyway!
This weekend was the first Historic Commercial Vehicle Club (Ballarat) truck rally at Clunes - near Ballarat.
Over the past week or so the cabin was refitted to the chassis so it could go.
This isn't a step towards restoration - just put it back together to put it on show.
It was very popular, as was the '48 truck as well. Other than a short, heavy shower of rain the weather was great.
As always, all good things take time. It means it will be much more historic before it's finished!
