Dim shot of COE interior
as it sits now. Just needs upholstery. Dash is custom built.
Seat is from a '55 Studebaker Pickup.-The
Stude seat had acouple of short pieces
of tube welded to the bottom of the frame to make
pivots so it can tilt forward.
They are the main anchor. At the back, I mounted a
hood latch from some GM car
to hold the back down. When you want the seat to tilt,
just pull the latch handle.
I put some stainless washers behind the grab handles as I figured they
would
help spread out the load and stop distortion of the panel.
The holes in the lower sill are indeed for a step that I fabbed from aluminum.
These panels normally are undrilled as you probably know.
They help my short legs get in and out easier.
