What you see here are a series of well designed hinge diagrams

As you can see this is a very complicated set of hinges, well it is complicated to me.

So the final result  has come to this, after getting a couple of very scary quotes Mike had the Hinge Brackets cut out of 3/8" thick steel by water jet cutting

And now has a pile of neatly cut but slightly rusty hinge brackets, let the fabrication begin !!

Here is a mockup of an end assembly.  The 1" DOM tube runs between the end assemblies.
It is going to take a lot of work to get the mill scale off the 3/8" steel.
I have already tried my 4" angle grinder with 36 and 80 grit

. I also tried my DA sander.  Each did a little, but not enough.  In hindsight,
I should have had the steel plate sand blasted clean before doing all the cutting.
The 1/4" is not as bad.  I cleans up easily.
