Time to change the Transmission to a 5 speed , the worst part will be getting a clutch
pedal hung with a master cylinder under the dash. I ordered a prefabricated
clutch and brake pedal assembly from Kugel Components (minus the brake parts).
I'll have to cut it up, modify it and graft it in beside what I already have in place for the brake pedal.
Transmission and related parts are all common off-the-shelf items from Dodge Ram pickups.
Tranny is NV4500 which has a 0.73 overdrive as an added bonus.
Cruising RPM will be very low - probably around 1300.
Don't worry, I have lots of low-end torque
Mounting is a little different along with the length. Was going to have to modify the driveshaft anyway because of the different u-joint
