. As far as pinching the frame, I had to widen it slightly to mate to the rear of the crossmember,
then taper the rails in to match the taper of the chev crossmember, then straighten the rails
forward of the crossmember to match the position of the stock chev steering box location.
I also made a scale side view drawing of the frame rails at the rake I wanted the truck to have,
and then drew in the chev crossmember with the proper angle of incidence.
this showed me the angle I had to taper the bottom of the frame rail in the area of the
crossmember. Lots of work in that area.
