I thought I had better fit some sort
of wiring protection and the old style fusible link didn't
excite me so I decide to go for the
Maxi Fuse which is much easier to replace if necessary,
I must get around to painting the ends of those bolts too.
I was searching for some sort of Courtesy Light and found
these in a container, a friend gave me these years ago, Thanks
Mick
I think they are from a 46/47 Mercury, the best place I found
to mount these will be in the lower door area, that way they
should shine onto the running board step area of the COE
Now this odd looking object is a fix for a problem, the Alfa
dash arrangement that I am using has only one indicator
warning light for both indicators, so as I couldn't work
out how to wire it for both directions I decided to make this
Y piece from plastic tubing which I happened to have on hand
and then with the right light fittings I was set.
First some cutting at angles and then some epoxy bond and then
a bit more cutting and gluing and it was done.
This piece fitted straight into the existing hole and with the
wires hooked up I was done.
