This section deals with trying to line
up the Triple Swage and have the bottom frame line up at the same time.
When you start using pieces of
other Ford trucks things don't always line up, see the above picture on
the right. To rectify this problem
the weld that holds on the yellow U channel was ground down and
then lined up with the rear section
and then rewelded This will also help the side section above the U channel
to be fitted correctly. although not as bad the drivers side will also
need this work done.

After the Triple Swage
and the bottom section were sorted out, it was time to sort out the Gutter
area.
The aim was to get the Gutter closer
to the top of the door. In the stock position it was possible to see through
the gap to the other side of the door !
so it was removed at the rear and
lowered down 1/4", this looks much better and will make waterproofing much
easier.
The final welding
still has to be done but the rear has to be Sandblasted first, all in good
time.
The gap in the roof area will be
eliminated when the original roof is welded on.
