A true cabover truck, a path others builders rarely take.
I chose a Ford 302 and Ford AOD transmission for this Cabover
because
it is the largest motor that
will fit in stock location and
under the stock doghouse.
The steering linkage is from a 1992 G20 van. It had the rubber bellows around the linkage as you know. I do have it and will use it once I finish up the floor.
That boot kept these parts looking new, even though they have seen 20 Chicago winters.
