I am hooking the Isuzu engine up to the C5 corvette trans as well as the rear end,

it is a double overdrive  set up six speed and with the rear gearing I should be able to do ok at least 100mph.

Japanese technology meets USA technology.
I bet this adaption hasn't been done before.
Now it is a matter of waiting for the innards to be done.
