Historically, she was originally a tanker truck for Humble Oil & Refinery Co. in New Jersey (a later subsidiary of Standard Oil- I have an original 1945 registration card), and the license plate is an early 1960s-issue NJ Municipal plate, so she worked a second career doing something else no doubt useful.
I hope to keep the budget under control and keep things
as factory as possible. I'd like to find a hood, go over the mechanicals
and register & drive it (with historic plates) on public roads. You
know; shake up the locals and all.
