For the frame I had a '40's pickup frame, we used the ID number on the frame
for DMV registration, it worked thank goodness. 1985 Chevy Full-sized van
front cross member, coil springs, disc brakes, power steering and power brakes.
Cutting out the unwanted crossmember and trial fitting the front crossmember
Time to mount the front crossmember, we did put ball joints in the front A Arms,
the rest seemed snug and good. To get the body lower we bought dropped spindles
So to sum things up, Art and I pretty much did everything on the truck except have the Rotors drilled.
We used all of the running gear, axle and engine is a 350 Chevy that barely ran,
I trailered it from about 50 miles away. I paid $600.00 for the van.
