I
cleaned off my
COE
bed and
started
removing the
large amount
of surface
rust that has
accumulated
over the last
three years.
Besides
getting the
bed completely
rust free,
welded
together and
primed,
I need to
figure out how to latch my storage boxes. They are
designed to hinge at the bottom.
I don’t want gaudy handles to mess up the looks. I am also afraid to use electric
latches alone should the power fail.
I was thinking that I could build a latch with a lever
on the top of the box. Do you have any ideas?
