My wheelbase is about 154.
The running boards are now 8” off the ground and should drop ½” when I finish adding windows, interior, etc…
I’m getting close to painting the cab.   All my stainless grill trim is polished and ready to go. I also have a newly chromed bumper and I chromed the door window glass frames (off a later 47 truck).   I’ll probably put the west coast (semi truck) style mirrors on it.  It will also have a small aluminum wing mounted behind the cab with a light on the underside to light up the bed.  The top of the bed will be quite cool, but is not done yet.  It will have stainless bungs welded into each side rail to snap in multiple types of racks for hauling motorcycles, bicycles, etc.  There will be rubber mats running down both sides where tires of a car go and the center will have graphics painted in the middle like an old surf board.  There are numerous holes already placed in the bed for tie downs.  The bed tilts and will require ramps for car hauling.  I plan on storing the ramps on top of the storage boxes in specially designed cut outs
