As a break from the rear suspension, the Front Mounted
Rack and Pinion was cleaned and painted.
The Chassis needed to be notched to clear the R &
P, as this is in front of the Suspension and the Frame Horn
Section is only there to support the R & P, the Front
Cab mounts and the Radiator so trimming of this bottom rail
should not affect any strength in this area.
Now the Top rail had to be notched as well to clear the
Steering Shaft, This was then strengthened by the Angle below.

This Angle will be bolted in under the top rail to strengthen
that area, these photo's show both sides of that piece.
