The Steering Column combination switch was really hard to work out the wiring on,
I had been trying for about 6 months to figure it out without much success.
So I thought how about I find another switch which would fit and be easier to work out
I hunted through the switch box and came up with one from a 1989 Toyota Hi Ace
which fitted  my Ford Trader Column with a slight modification, the rectangular plate
in the pic above  was made to fit the tube mount next to it, I had a spare tube mount

Here you can see the Ford Trader Switch at the top and the Toyota
Hi Ace Switch at the bottom, very similar in design, I did need to modify
the existing holes in the outer covers but nothing a bit of Fiberglass can't fix.
