Time play with the Taillights, the dismantled light at the top, is still original
The light at the bottom has been modified to take an Halogen Down Light
These are available in various wattages and in 12Volt or 240 Volt
So I bought some12 Volt 50 Watt lights and modified the reflector and base to suit.
Note the larger hole in the reflector and the rectangular hole in the base
And this is how it fits into the reflector, held in place by some liquid nails on the back side.
These are the Stainless Housings that the taillights will go into
And the end views, this stainless is yet to polished
A trial fit of the early Sydney Bus lights, my only concern
is will the Halogen lights cause to much heat and melt the lenses,
time will tell I suppose
