What you see here is the cut end of one of the chrome strips
So this really is not a good look and I am going to fill them.
I had this piece of 5mm thick Aluminium which I could cut into
24 small segments which is the number I would require.
And this is how they turned out after cutting and linishing ,
these will be held in place with Sikaflex and should look much better.
So I have "glued" the ends in and fitted the right number of roofing bolts to each strip
