Well after finally receiving my Windscreen Frame and
other items back from
the Chrome Platers, I coated the inside of the frames with
Cavity Wax to stop
or at least slow down the rust which always seems to
get inside these frames
I then delivered them to the Glass shop and had them fit
new safety glass
Then it was the fun job of fitting the Bob Drake
Windshield rubber.
I have sort of fitted it but more adjusting will be
necessary after the rubber flattens out a bit
I have managed to get the windshield 90 % in place, I
don't want to force it too much.

I also had new glass fitted to the quarter or vent
windows, I ended up fitting
the frames without the rubber seal and then cut the seal
into three pieces to
get it to fit right, the rubber seal is designed for a 46
Ford and not a COE as
COE's in the US did not have vent windows but Aussie ones
did but rubber seals
for these are not available, so you have to use seals
designed for something else.
