What you see here is the basis for attaching my rear Fenders
to the storage lockers in front of the Fenders

Because the Fenders will be able to slid outwards 2" on each side
I had devise a way to keep them in place, so this U Channel
was welded to the front bottom edge of the Fender.

The cut outs on the closest edge are for the welded areas of the
storage lockers, they will probably be trimmed further.

A side view showing the Channel as well as the Tube that the
 Fenders will slide outwards on.

I welded them fully on the top so that water will not leak into the gap
