As COE Trucks are quite wide, one must stretch to ones full capacity to reach the other Door from the inside, this will not do.
This RHS Pickup/COE door is being fitted with a barrel lock from an American Door, Aussie Doors only had the
Barrel lock on the LHS our Pass side so it was replaced with a new section.  Follow along to see how it was done.

This shows the doors inside panel welded into place,      Here is the finished job, so we can now lock the door
Note the trim edge will need to be modified to match.     from either side, a much better method.
